Happier today

Katie was talking this morning about wanting to go to playgroup so I was hoping she is getting over whatever it is. Even on the way, she was talking about singing and toys and stories, but as soon as we got to the end of the street it was "I want to go home". She was still quite clingy and looking sad, but she wasn't crying and she was willing to sit down at the play table with some sand and dinosaurs - usually she keeps wanting to hold onto me - and she let me leave. She has her special blanket so hopefully she'll go back to just ignoring me and running off the play. After today, she's not back until next Friday though because of Easter. Couldn't have come at a worse time really!
